BROAD TOWN PARISH COUNCIL.

ANNUAL MEETING.

The Annual Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Monday 11th May 2009 in the Village Hall at 19.30 hrs. Before the meeting is opened Karen Scott, Community Area Manager of the Wootton Bassett and Cricklade Area Board, will give a short talk on the proposed way in which it will operate.

Declarations of Interest

1. The election of the Chairman for the coming year.

2. Election of other officers, as required.

3. The approval of the minutes of the meeting held on 6th April 2009. Matters arising.

4. To discuss the vacancy on the Parish Council.

5. To renew Standing Orders and Financial Regulations for the coming year.

Planning

6. To note approval of 02825/ FUL. Access to Manor Farm.

7. To consider 09/00611/COU. To convert building at Broad Town Road Farm.

Finance.

8. To approve accounts for 2008/09, and complete the Annual Governance Statement.

9. To approve salary scale and allowances for the Clerk. (Salary tied to NALC Pay Scale). To approve back pay from 1st April 2008 of £1.93

Insurance

10. To consider renewal of PC Insurance for the coming year. Community First(Zurich) are quoting £235.86. (Last year £227.71)

WALC

11. To approve membership of Wilts Assn of Local Councils, and raise a cheque for annual subs of £173.93. (Last years subs £175.53).
